Rita McCarthy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters in Counseling. She has worked in the Catholic Church for spiritual renewal for over 35 years, authored a book on prayer “Yielding to the Power of God,” and is the founder of the Daughters of the Annunciation, an apostolate for Catholic Women.

Rita has over 20 years experience in public speaking and teaching on Christian formation, prayer, and family/workplace relationships. She speaks at conferences nationwide, offering motivational retreats and workshops in Catholic spirituality & growth.

Rita and her husband Steve currently reside in the Diocese of Palm Beach, Fl.
